In Ghost Blossom III, flowers appear to dissolve into motion. Tonal inversion and intentional camera movement stretch stems and petals into vertical traces, while dark centres remain as fleeting points of visual gravity. What begins as a recognisable floral field gradually becomes a drifting, almost spectral rhythm of light, shadow and repetition. The work reflects Marcel van Beek’s interest in moments when familiar natural forms lose their stability without disappearing completely. The flowers remain present as echoes or afterimages, suspended between botanical reality, memory and abstraction.
