This Banshee has screamed inside my skull since childhood. In 2025 she finally found the door.
One night I saw her silhouette inside an unfinished nebula painting. I left the studio for a month. When I came back she had already started eating the stars.
Layer by layer I tried to cover her. She kept breaking through.
The day it was finished my wife walked in, turned white, and said: “That’s the screaming Demon Lady from my dreams.”
She did not know I had been painting her.
One of one. No prints will ever exist. The painting is still hungry.
