Sometimes the End does not come calmly. Sometimes the End is rending, painful, terrifying. Rushing forward from the darkness, clawlike hands open for the strike…the living spirit is ended, carried away to a fate unknown. There was no escape…
Ragged robes flow like shredded wings as the Creature comes, turbulent and translucent.
Once again we can see the process of creation, thoughts and hopes of the artist exposed and vulnerable, the reassuring cloak of the clay cast aside to reveal skeletons and skin of metal and mesh. The deadwood base strikes forward sharply, striated to move with the flight of the figure.
