The Creature calmly raises its’ skeletal finger and it’s focus is unshakeable…the End of this earthly journey, perhaps the beginning of another..
The robes flow with the intention of the spirit, translucent and flowing as if stirred gently by unseen forces.
We see the process of creation here in raw form: the metal, the rust, the wires like bones and veins. The clay waits in the wings today, uncalled for. There is an honesty, a clarity in this creation…nothing pretentious…only the motion. The dead wood ground echoes the subject’s lifelessness, but the grain striations follow the figure inexorably forward.
