The third in a new series where each idea is worked out and implemented uniquely as part of a three-piece (triptych); first in “white on white”, then full colour and finally as “Blackened” or black on black as relief. The aim here is to evoke a poetic, emotional response along with aesthetic sensitivity to technique, composition and style. Still, the goal is – as always – set to create a monumental and aesthetic experience in addition to recreating or constructing reality in the image captured on the canvas.
