Matheo Delalle-Putniković Biography

Croatia, born 1998

I was born in Venezuela, Caracas in 1998, where I spent my early years surrounded by the bright colors of the tropics. We had to move to Serbia, from where my family is originally, after Hugo Chavez became president in 2002.

I’ve graduated from School of Design, specializing in Art conservation and later from Metropolitan University, Design of Interactive media. At the time, my main focus was on digital arts, especially in 3D modeling, testing and experimenting with new technologies of sculpting with 3D printers and robotic milling.

During COVID, my focus shifted from new technologies to traditional mediums, such as soft pastel and oil colors. It was then where I wanted to connect more with my family roots of painters. My grandfather was an Academic artist, well known in the former Yugoslavia, as well as my great grandfather. To honor the family tradition, I finished my Masters Degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Technology in Brno, Czech Republic.
