Drawing from shadow work and psychological introspection, I use painting as a process of revealing the unseen aspects of the self into form.  The exaggerated features, hypnotic eyes, and raw, gestural marks are intentional. They disrupt perfection and invite the viewer to sit with discomfort long enough for something deeper to emerge.
In my work, these monstrous forms are not meant to repel, but to be witnessed. When we allow ourselves to see them fully, they begin to integrate and transform. The shadow, when acknowledged, becomes a source of power, clarity, and even beauty.
My paintings are created quickly and intuitively, often feeling as though they arrive rather than being constructed. I think of them as transmissions of emotional states captured in color, line, and movement. Each figure carries its own presence, story and truth.
This body of work is an invitation to look closer, to feel more honestly, and to recognize that what we fear within ourselves may also be the doorway to our greatest expansion.
