Alfredo Baon Biography

My artistic passion started twenty years ago. Back in 2002 I was working in the music business playing drums in a popular pop-rock band. I had a lot of free time between gigs so dedicated full time to create. I did lots of pencil drawings and charcoal first, then collage, ink-works and watercolor. The most of them, were dark, fantasy and creepy art-works. Themes I love since I was a kid.

In 2010, I also started with sculptures Fimo, wood, plaster and almost any material could find. In 2015, start painting acrylic peaces until today.

I have never shown my works in public until I opened my Instagram account three years ago.

Some of my influences are Goya, Giger, Z. Beksiński and Francis Bacon among others.

I think I have found my very own personal style combinating palette knife, brush and airbrush in my painting achieving interesting raw results and organic fleshy textures.
