Artwork description

This print depicts an alien creature. Ever since practicing drawing using Betty Edwards 1979 book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, I have been fascinated by human muscles. The ligaments of this completely fantastical creature are an imitation of that. The creature is inspired by the Martians in H G Well’s 1898 book, The War Of The Worlds.
