Artwork description

Corals used to be beautifully colored, but nowadays for more and more of them the colors only comes from the fishes hovering around them, since climate change, through temperature rise and acidification of the oceans, kills the zooxanthellae (sorts of algae) living inside their tissue, turning them white (their structure color). Even the fishes colors mays disappear some day not so far, since fish population has been reduced by more than 80% compared to historical levels – a population decrease even worse for bigger fish, above 90%.
