A face emerges from an almost organic material, suspended between appearance and erasure.

The figure seems to have been crossed, burned, covered, and then revealed again. Its contours dissolve while the material retains traces: fragments of skin, colour, accidents, deposits.

What remains is less a portrait than a presence — something that persists after disappearance.
