This work was born from a shared obsession between my model and me: a deep-seated passion for fantastic cinema and its most provocative shadows. “King Kong doesn’t only fall in love with blondes” is my personal homage to one of the most perverse and enduring scenes in cinematic history: the moment a titan looks upon a woman with a dark, forbidden desire.
While the “Beauty” in this myth has traditionally been portrayed as blonde, I chose to remain faithful to the striking brunette features of my model, breaking the cinematic trope to ground the fantasy in a more personal reality. This painting is intended to be a disturbing gaze into the “Beauty and the Beast” archetype, stripping away the fairy tale to reveal the raw, unsettling undercurrents of beastiality and zoophilia fantasies.
Through the texture of acrylic on board, I have captured that precise tension where the monstrous meets the carnal. It is an exploration of power, scale, and the primal attraction to the non human. As Pictor Mulier, I invite the collector to possess this moment of dark fascination where the gaze of the beast becomes a mirror for our own untamed desires.
