Artwork description

This drawing represents my struggle with BPD and depression that’s been lasting for the past eight and a half years.
My aim was to show what it is like to be engulfed in a powerful and uncontrollable wave of feelings.
I wanted to visualise this mental state where you feel like somebody ripped your skin off, and now every touch, every judgmental glance, and every remark causes you excruciating pain, as if somebody were pouring hot oil on your torn flesh.
