Louhi is a character from Finnish Kalevala, ancient folklores. Louhi was the queen and the witch of the north. She was also shapeshifter and could turn to a birdmonster who killed all men who tried to steal her magical thing, Sampo. She also ruled the death ferryman and underworld.
