Artwork description
Through its dualistic nature the human mind is often embattled with itself. The second piece in my schism series depicts two women, surgically conjoined. One has made peace with this condition, while the other is still reeling in horror at their shared predicament. The absence of arms hints at a greater loss of agency, just as one struggles to find agency over one’s duality.
