Complete canopic jar set. Canopic jars were used in ancient Egyptian mummification to store the organs of mummies. Each jar represented one of the four sons of Horus and was designated for a specific organ: Duamutef (jackal head/stomach), Imseti (human head/liver), Qebehsenuef (falcon head/intestines), and Hapi (baboon head/lungs).
