This piece is my version of Krampus, done completely with markers. I wanted to capture the chaotic, over-the-top energy of the character, so I gave him a massive red cloak spilling across the rooftop while he climbs out of a chimney. The little elves running around add a mix of humor and panic that I think fits the whole “dark Christmas” vibe.
I kept the colors simple—mostly red, black, and white—so the shapes and expressions stand out and the whole scene feels like it jumps off the page. Everything here is hand-drawn, including the textures and snow, which gives it that rough, gritty feel I like in my work.
