Polina Hryn Biography

United States

I am an autodidact portrait artist. Though I have painted in a few different mediums, styles and techniques since 2006, I now work in the medium of oil painting. My work is directed by my interest in the human form, and the expression thereof. It is Realism presented with a surrealistic and narrative backdrop, giving motive to the subject and at times veering toward the occult and the old ways.

My work has been shown in Laguna Beach, CA and Le Cannet, France at the Musee Bonnard.

My home studio is now in Long Beach, California.
