Nicola Testoni Biography

Nicola Testoni was born in Carbonia (Sardinia-Italy) in 1978. He graduated from the Academy of fine Arts in Bologna in 2004 with a thesis titled "Behind the face, the norm, the form, the representation" under the direction of Prof. Alberto Lolli. In 2003, he received an honorable mention among the finalists of the Giorgio Morandi engraving prize. In 2018, he created the illustrations for the book "in the mind of Alan Moore" an Italian transcription of a biography on the Northampton writer. The pop culture magazine Linus used one of his illustrations, as featured in one of the articles on Alan Moore, to which the December 2019 issue was dedicated. In 2021, he created the cover for the novel "Horda" by Ricardo Menendez Salmon published by the publishing house Seix Barral (Barcelona). He currently lives and works in Sardinia, ranging from the oil painting, to gouche and sculpture.
