Born and raised in Miami, FL, Kit Steele is an award-winning , self-taught illustrator, working predominantly in ink and watercolor. Themes and interests expressed in her art have varied wildly over the years, but impermanence and the nature of the ephemeral have always persisted.
Her works have graced YA science fiction/fantasy and steampunk genre book covers of NYT Bestselling authors, along with multiple gallery shows throughout Central Florida, private collections around the world, and fine art gallery spaces at Universal Studios.
She now resides in Orlando, FL, where she is managed by an eldery cat.
