Enid Johnstone Biography

Italy, born 1967

Multi-disciplinary artist Enid Johnstone delves into themes of opposites and polarity in her work. Her life, marked by contrasts, spans from a rural childhood in South Africa to a global existence, belonging in diverse communities across continents. With a background in journalism and a passion for writing, Enid infuses storytelling into each of her artworks. Now based in Florence, Italy, Enid draws inspiration from the beauty, impermanence, and solitude of her surroundings. Her distinctive style blends various media, resulting in a unique artistic expression. She has exhibited her work internationally and enjoys a global network of private collectors.
