My name is Daniella and I am the face behind Monarch Manor.
For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with nature and I have a particular fascination with moths and butterflies. One of my favorite hobbies is foraging and making friends with just about any animal and Insect I encounter.
Years ago, I found entomology and have been hooked since.I love creating many different arts, but my main love is entomology and taxidermy. All of my specimens have lived out a full life in nature before I preserve and memorialize their elegance and beauty with my art pieces.
I truly put a lot of love, mystery, and care into what I make. I only use secondhand antique and vintage vessels. Nearly every piece I create looks nothing like its original state. I uniquely upcycle almost every piece by utilizing metalwork and other tools to transform it to its final state. Although this process takes a lot of thought, planning, and hard work, I want my pieces to last as long as earthy possible. I create these beautiful pieces to be passed on throughout generations.
