While most would assume this was a bad dream, the artist, Alex Liong, actually reflects on it jovially.
“This dream I had of encountering this human/crab monster came to me in a moment when I had too many other dreams mirroring my real life. And believe me when I say that the latter is much more terrifying than the former.
That’s why I drew this; so that I can look back at this piece and be grateful to have dreamt something exhilarating and didn’t represent a real world fear.”
